✦ The bottom line
Reddit made $2.20B in revenue in 2025, up 69% from $1.30B the year before. Almost all of it is advertising. The striking part: revenue grew far faster than the audience did — users were up 19%, but revenue rose 69%, meaning Reddit got much better at making money per user.

Money coming in
Reddit makes almost all its money selling advertising against the conversations happening in its communities. The more people who visit, and the more those visits are worth to advertisers, the more Reddit earns. Reddit measures its audience in Daily Active Uniques (DAUq) — roughly, daily users. Revenue is essentially that audience multiplied by how well each user is monetized. When revenue grows much faster than users, it means the monetization is improving — Reddit is squeezing more value from the same visit.
Wall Street calls this
Revenue
For an ad-supported business, growth comes from two levers: *more users* or *more money per user*. Reddit pulled both in 2025 — but mostly the second, which is the harder, higher-quality kind of growth.

A revenue jump is the result. To know whether it's durable, you look at what's underneath it. Start with the audience: is Reddit actually reaching more people, or just squeezing more ads onto the same crowd? The daily-users number answers that.

Average daily users in the final quarter of 2025 — up 19% year-over-year. The audience is genuinely growing. Since revenue grew 69% while users grew 19%, the rest came from better monetization per user.
